Ok...2.5 Days
My life is now a whirlwind of social engagements, last minute phone calls and packing. Dear daytime TV, how will I survive without you blathering in the background of my life? I'm enjoying my last few days in the states before I take off!
My dear friend Brian might meet me for dinner at JFK during my layover on Friday. It would be really good to see him again and a welcome distraction from four hours of sitting alone contemplating the 3 month nature of my aloneness.
I'm going to miss Joshua so much.

8 Days
Only 8 days left until I leave for Africa. Despite pockets of paralyzing nervousness, I'm really getting excited about my trip! Much remains to be done before the 29th. More news to come as my departure approaches.
